After months of dealing with the drama surrounding her mother’s drug addiction, Honey Boo Boo finds herself at the center of a similarly unfortunate controversy.
The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star, 13, went on Facebook Live last Thursday evening and pretended to do a line of cocaine, much to her sister’s frustration. She initially went live to answers questions from fans, but then seemed to get very frustrated, yelling at her sister, Pumpkin, “Tell me what’s f**king next right now!” She took a break from answering questions, picked up a plastic knife, pretended to make a line, and started snorting it.
In the video, a woman – whom TMZ alleges is Pumpkin – is heard yelling, “Alana, quit f**king doing…don’t even f**king mimic that, we’re f**king live!!!”
Honey Boo Boo and her family have had a particularly trying few months after Mama June was arrested for crack cocaine possession, along with her boyfriend Geno Doak. Since the arrest, the family has tried to get Mama June into rehab, but she has resisted all attempts to get help. Honey Boo Boo is currently living with Pumpkin due to the turmoil at her mother’s house.
In the May finale of Mama June: From Not to Hot, Honey Boo Boo expressed how afraid she is for her mother. “So I really hope this is rock bottom for mama,” she said. “Because once you hit rock bottom, there’s no more going deeper — you can only go up. I really hope mama’s just thinking ‘I just got arrested. I need to get it together. I need to get my s— together.’ If this isn’t her wake-up call, Icould possibly lose her forever.”
People reached out to Honey Boo Boo’s family regarding the cocaine video, but the family did not respond.
