Making an effort counts for something, right? At least that’s what one mom thought after she asked her husband to put away the groceries and he had a very unusual way of organizing the items. The mom took to Reddit to share her husband’s interesting organizational skills, or lack thereof.
“I went grocery shopping and my husband put everything away…it’s a blue box so it must be pasta,” she joked, sharing a photo of their cabinet filled with newly purchased items, including pasta, pasta sauce, and a box of tampons…oops?

The wife posted the image on Reddit and received some hilarious responses. “I like my tampons al dente and throw them against the wall to see if they stick,” wrote one commenter.
“I tried making a lasagna, but it just absorbed all the blue water I poured on it,” said another. In the thread, there were also many back-and-forth conversations that were real gems.

“It’s for when you’re on the Ragu,” someone helpfully pointed out. To which someone hilariously replied, “Don’t need it if you’re Prego. It’s in there.”
“Gonna make some menstruone soup later,” another commenter joked. “Best one here, period,” someone responded.
Some people also took the opportunity to share their own embarrassing stories about failed attempts to best organize the groceries. “I once put away the new lube my girlfriend wanted to try. She mixed the pharmacy stuff with groceries. Two weeks later right there where I thought it needed to be. Dessert pantry. Me: ‘It said coconut,’” shared one (sort of) helpful boyfriend.
In the end, the husband did help put everything away so he’ll get credit for that (bonus points if he can help his wife find the Tampax when she needs them).
