It looks like JWOWW had a real reason to celebrate on New Year’s Eve this year. Star of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, JWOWW revealed on Monday that her three-year-old son, Greyson Valor Mathews, had his first successful bathroom break and it’s a major milestone.
In 2018, Greyson was diagnosed with autism. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s clear that being Greyson’s mom is very rewarding. JWOWW celebrated her son’s milestone by posting a jubilant video to Instagram. For any parent who knows how hard potty training can be, you need to watch this victory lap.

How cute is this? JWOWW captioned the video, “Epic day for @greysonmathews. We celebrate all of his milestones but especially this one… he went all by himself and was so excited to show me. Deff saving this video for his future girlfriend #HappyFirstPoopyOnThePotty #Browniecake.”
You can hear JWOWW and her 5-year-old daughter, Meilani, singing “Happy first poopy on the potty day!” Then, JWOWW rewards her son with a brownie cake with candles. Greyson blows out the candles and then received a hug from his sister.
JWOWW has been open about the struggles of raising a child who’s on the spectrum.
She recently posted about it saying, “My sweet @greysonmathews took 45 minutes to calm down tonight… all because I didn’t pick him up in the exact spot he needed me to and he couldn’t continue the night unless I did. Lately, Greyson has been experiencing OCD tendencies. Not sure if they are related to his ASD or just overlap. He cannot continue anything until it’s redone the way he wants. ”
The lengthy caption ends with JWOWW sweetly saying, “One day he will learn and grow up to be an incredible adult. Until then, mama will be right by your side helping your every step. So Greyson, hoping one day you will read this and know Mommy never gave up.”
What an incredible mom! We’re so proud of the progress that Greyson is making and know that all the love, care, and hard work will pay off. Go, JWOWW!! Go!
