WATCH: Jennifer Lopez Lets Her Twins Interview Her, Raising the Bar for Celebrity Profiles

Jennifer Lopez has been interviewed a lot. Like a lot a lot. But never has she had to endure an interview so personal, so grueling as the one conducted by her own beautiful twins.

Jennifer sat down with her 11-year-old twins, Max and Emme, for a video interview that is honestly too cute for words. It legitimately makes all other celebrity interviews seem like hot garbage. Why aren’t more children of celebrities interviewing their famous parents?!

Interview questions include:

  • “What was the most trouble you got in when you were my age?”
  • “What was it like living with Grandma?”
  • “Do you think that math is useless?” (EDITOR’S NOTE: Yes!)
  • “Am I your favorite?”
  • “Is being a mom different than you imagined?”
  • And many more!

So as you can see, this conversation went deep! For her part, Jennifer answered honestly and candidly, granting glimpses into her personal and professional lives going all the way back to childhood.

Watch the full interview below:

Our favorite part? At around 7:56, Max asks his mom what her favorite thing about him is. She responds with her favorite characteristics for both kids, and her answers are so heartfelt and real.

Max and Emme were born in February of 2008 to Jennifer and then-husband Marc Anthony. The couple split three years later in 2011 but remain committed to raising their children together. Jennifer recently became engaged to New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez. The ring is, unsurprisingly, a total knockout.

What a beautiful family! But again: why aren’t more celebrities having their kids interview them? This is a gold mine! Give Blue Ivy a microphone and a press pass! Get North West a job at E! Let’s make this happen, people! J.Lo and her absolutely adorable twins are really onto something here.
