Teen Mom’s Kailyn Lowry Arrested Last Month for Reportedly Punching the Father of Her Two Youngest Children

Following coming to physical blows with the father of her two youngest children, Kailyn Lowry was arrested in Delaware. According to E! News, Lowry was arrested after allegedly punching her ex-boyfriend, Chris Lopez.

Lowry was taken into custody on September 26, but the incident reportedly occurred on September 4. The former couple was reported exchanging custody of their 3-year-old son Lux near Chris’s home.

Kailyn Lowry Arrested for Hitting Father of Two Youngest Children

In the police report obtained by E! News, Chris claims that Kailyn lost her cool after seeing that he had cut their son’s hair. She started “attacking” him by “punching him several times on the head and upper torso” in anger.

However, according to Kailyn, while she did say she got “upset because Christopher cut Lux’s hair. Kailyn stated that the dispute never became physical.”

After pleading not guilty to “offensive touching,” she was ordered to have “no contact, direct or indirect” with Chris.

Since news of Kailyn’s arrest has been made public, Lowry’s representatives have spoken out. In a statement given only to E! News, the mom of four is now looking for full custody of her two children she shares with Lopez, which also includes 3-month-old Creed.

“Ms. Lowry has filed a petition for custody in the matter involving her children Lux and Creed. The judge in the Delaware Family Court has ordered the parties to refrain from discussing all domestic matters until after the hearing next year.  Currently, Ms. Lowry has been awarded sole custody of the children despite the allegations pending in Family Court. Ms. Lowry does deny all of the allegations but cannot respond specifically at this time due to the orders of the judge.”

Kailyn is expected back in court on January 21.
