Reality star and mom-of-eight Kate Gosselin has found herself in legal trouble after she filmed her underage children without work permits.

Kate Gosselin was found to be in contempt of court after violating a legal agreement she has with Jon, regarding their children being filmed for her reality show.

According to their agreement, the reality star was supposed to give Jon a filming schedule to approve, along with filing work permits for the children. Daily Mail reports that she failed to do both and was ordered to pay a fine of $1,500 to Jon. If she violates the rules again, Kate could face jail time.

The former couple have had ongoing court battles with a judge ruling that continuing to film wasn’t in the best interest of their children, but it appears that Kate disagrees.

Jon spoke out against the mother of his children and her insistence on filming with their kids.

“The court agreed with me, they have given me back my rights. The guardian ad litem said filming wasn’t in the best interests of my children, the judge said it wasn’t in their best interests, but Kate went ahead and did it anyway,” shared Jon.

“But this order now puts her on notice that she has to do everything by the book. She can still film Kate Plus 8 or Kate Plus Date, or whatever she wants, but she has to go to court to get a court order to get my written consent first.”

Mady recently took to Instagram to reflect on the past year.

“2019: you were a bittersweet, stressful, challenging, crazy year,” she wrote. “But you were also refreshing, wonderful, unpredictable and full of achievements I’m so proud of. It’s all about balance, I guess happy new year!! Here’s to 2020 being cooler and crazier.”

Here’s hoping the family will find some peace and harmony in the new year.
