Katie Holmes is a private celebrity parent who does not share an awful lot about her personal life and that of her daughter, Suri Cruise. This is why it was a shock to fans who caught a glimpse of the teenager in newly released photos Holmes shared in honor of her daughter’s birthday.
Fans were delighted with an Instagram post Holmes shared on Sunday which contained black and white photographs of the star’s daughter who recently turned 15.

“Happy 15th Birthday Sweetheart! I love you!!!!!!!!” Katie Holmes captioned the photos. “I can’t believe you are already 15!”
Honestly, we can’t either!
The gallery-style post begins with a photo of Suri as a young child, then, we see Holmes embracing her baby girl.
Fans and friends were elated with the post. “OMG OMG HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE LEGEND,” Laura Brown of InStyle commented.
The former Dawson’s Creek alum rarely shares images of Suri but she seems to make an exception to the rule on her little one’s birthday.
Last year, Holmes shared photos for her daughter’s previous birthday which showed the back of Suri’s head crowned in flowers. Along with those images, she shared party decorations from the family’s festivities.

“Birthday vibes,” she captioned the image at the time.
“Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!!!!!!,” Holmes wrote in the caption of another photo celebrating Suri’s 14th birthday. “I am so blessed to be your mom. May this year be incredible!”
The last time we caught a glimpse of Suri, although not her face, was in May of 2020 when Holmes shared a photo that showed off the pair’s tie-dye project.
She shared the picture to show off what she and her daughter have been doing while socially distancing together.
We are so thrilled that Suri has reached the 15-year milestone and that fans are able to see just how fast she is growing up. Happy Birthday, Suri!
