Khloé Kardashian’s show Revenge Body follows contestants who have faced hardships and now want to undergo some sort of transformation and get their bodies in top shape. Having used her own personal struggles to fuel her physical fitness transformation, the mom-of-one helps guide participants and encourages them to open up about their relationship with food and their bodies.
During one especially emotional episode, contestant Kay Richae recalled the trauma of losing her newborn son immediately after birth and then having her husband request a divorce. “My ex-husband… not only did he not support me, but he was against me,” shared Kay. “He blamed me. Two weeks after we lost our baby, he wanted a divorce.”
Khloé, who co-parents daughter True Thompson with her ex Tristan Thompson, comforted Kay by saying, “Oh my god. Like you don’t have enough going on. You are so strong. People would probably never imagine what you’ve been through.”
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star went on to tell Kay how she worked hard to create a new life for her and her daughter and divulged, “Girl, and I was eating my ass off during the process!”
We have to respect how Khloé seems to have persevered despite personal hardships and is now a beacon of positivity and personal empowerment.
