Kourtney Kardashian Reveals the Sleeping Arrangement She Still Has With Her 10-Year-Old Daughter Penelope and People Have a Lot to Say About It

Kourtney Kardashian has a way of making headlines and that’s exactly what she did on her latest visit to the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, hosted by Amanda Hirsch. In the interview, Kardashian enlightened us on the fact she still sleeps with her 11-year-old daughter, Penelope.

“She’s slept with me every day since she was born. … And pretty much still still does, unless she has a friend sleep over,” said Kardashian. It’s not that it’s a bad thing, by any means, but it’s certainly unusual and not necessarily something we would expect from Kourtney Kardashian.

Penelope and Kourtney have such a beautiful relationship and tight bond that has continued to grow over the past 11 years. “We’ve spent so much time together and spend so much time together and I just, I don’t worry about her,” said Kourtney, adding she’s ‘a mini-me to her core.’

Kourtney Kardashian has been enjoying every second of her new life with husband Travis Barker. The couple got married earlier this year and while they’ve been dating for nearly two years, they have yet to move in together – though they live down the street from one another.

The only reason for the delay is they’re still trying to figure out their living situation as they combine their two families. In addition to Penelope, 11, Kourtney has two other children with ex Scott Disick – Mason, 12, and Reign, 7. Kourtney and Scott finally split for good in 2015.

As for Barker, he has three children with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. They share an 18-year-old son named Landon, a 16-year-old daughter named Alabama, and Atiana De La Hoya (Barker’s stepdaughter). Between Barker and Kardashian, there are six kids between 7 and 18 years old.

While some people might be surprised to learn that Kourtney Kardashian still allows her 11-year-old daughter to sleep with her at night, it’s something that we’ve seen recently from other celebrities. Who knows, maybe it’ll start a trend and it’ll be the new cool thing to do!

During an appearance on ‘The Ellen Fisher Podcast,’ actress Alicia Silverstone admitted that her 11-year-old son, Bear, still sleeps with her at night. “And I believe in love and I believe in nature, and our society is scared of nature and scared of love,” said Silverstone on the podcast.

“If you were in any kind of wild setting where there are animals, if you put your baby over there,” as she pointed across the room, “your baby is going to get eaten. It’s not ideal for the baby to be over there,” the actress continued to explain. I guess that makes sense, if you think about it.
