Kourtney took to social media to rebut the claim that she didn’t work as hard as her other sisters. In a series of tweets, she informed fans that she wouldn’t be live-tweeting the episode of the show, as planned. Instead, she decided to use the time to spend with her children.
On Twitter, Kourtney Kardashian defended herself ahead of allegations that she doesn’t possess a strong work ethic.
“I won’t be live tweeting #KUWTK tonight, as I’m spending time with my kids while they are on spring break,” Kourtney wrote in a tweet. “I realize that a lot of the conversation right now surrounds my work ethic, and I feel like I need to just make one thing clear: raising children is a job as well. In fact…”
Kourtney’s thread began, revealing how she was really feeling. She let fans know that she wasn’t going to waste her time on baseless claims.
The tweets continued with Kourtney writing that having kids is ‘the hardest and most rewarding job.’
“it’s the hardest and most rewarding job that I have ever had. I’ve decided to put my focus on my kids and my lifestyle brand, Poosh, which is all about finding YOUR healthy balance for living your best life,” the thread continued.
Poosh is Kourtney’s wellness and lifestyle brand that she launched in early 2019. She’s been very busy with the project ever since.

Kourtney concluded that she respects any mom and her decisions on how to best balance her life.
The thread concludes with Kourtney writing, “I don’t judge anyone who chooses a different route, and I hope that everyone can appreciate my choices as well. With love, Kourt.”
It really seems like the reality star and entrepreneur is taking her own advice and is finding a “healthy balance.”
The tweets foreshadowed the drama that would unfold on KUWTK’s latest episode.
Kourtney is mom to three children. She has a daughter, Penelope Scotland, 7, and two sons: Mason Dash, 10, and Reign Aston, 5 whom she shares with her ex Scott Disick. In the episode, Kourtney and Kim clashed over Kourtney’s work ethic and the “narrative” that she sees Kim pushing.
In the heat of the moment, Kourtney says to Kim, “But, you act like I don’t do sh*t… You have this narrative in your mind… You know I will literally f*ck you up if you mention it again.”
The blowout between Kourtney and Kim was also previewed by Kim earlier in the week.
In a video chat with Jimmy Fallon as part of The Tonight Show: At Home Edition, Kim told the late-night host that the situation was “pretty intense.” It was so “intense” that production on the show was temporarily halted so that the two sisters could cool down.
“I feel like it’s been a lot of built-up resentment from Kourtney, or just feeling like she doesn’t really want to film anymore,” Kim explained.
“We shut down production for a week after that,” Kim said. “I think everyone was really shook for a minute and just was like, ‘This isn’t our type of show. We want everyone to be comfortable and safe.'”
As part of the KUWTK episode, Kourtney did a confessional-style recap to explain to fans her feelings about the fight and where she sees herself at with the show.
“I don’t understand why there’s all this judgment about the way we each want to live our lives. We should be accepted for what we each want to do. It’s not a positive environment for me to want to be in every day when I feel like they’re so critical of me,” she explained. “Every day I’m coming in, I’m like, ‘Why am I choosing to be in this environment?’ And I think I just reached my point of not being able to tolerate it anymore.”
Wow! Kourtney seems like she’s really over it.
Kourtney decided to take some time away from the show for herself and her kids.
The episode of KUWTK concludes with Kourtney describing the plans she’s taking to take a “step back” and to have more control over what the cameras capture.
“I feel like I’m on this hamster wheel and it’s just not something I can continue to do,” she shared. “I think some big changes need to happen.”
“I’ve decided to take a big step back from filming and really just pick and choose what I will allow cameras to follow.”
It might seem counterintuitive to work less after fielding accusations of laziness from Kim, but it’s clear this mom has a lot on her mind. We hope the time away from the show (and Kim) will give her the space she needs to find the “healthy balance” she needs.
