While home with his family, the 10-year-old son of Kourtney Kardashian got himself into a little bit of trouble. According to E! News, Mason Disick created a public Instagram page for himself without his parents knowing.
They only found out about his Instagram page when he went on Instagram Live and started spilling some of his family’s secrets. As reports suggested, while the 10-year-old was attempting to connect with his fans on the popular social media platform, he told the world that his aunt Kylie Jenner and her ex-boyfriend, rapper Travis Scott, are not back together.
While much of the world as been self-quarantining, Kylie and Travis have been around each other a lot more. However, that is most likely because of their young daughter, Stormi.
Kourtney Kardashian Learns Son Mason Created an Instagram Account Without Her Knowing
Shortly after learning about his Instagram account, Kourtney and Mason’s father, Scott Disick, made sure he deleted the account. Kourtney explained her parenting decision when she went Live on Poosh’s Instagram account with Sarah Howard.
“He started an Instagram yesterday and didn’t ask us. I did delete it because Scott and I just felt like… He’s 10! I think there’s an age limit with Instagram. I think it’s… 13.”
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star continued saying that she’s worried about her young son being on social media because of how negative it can get sometimes. “I think on Instagram, the thing that really worries me with kids is just comments. People can be so mean. It’s really easy to get consumed with it. I just feel it’s not the time.”
In fact, as E! News reports it was the mean comments her kids were receiving on Instagram and other social media platforms that almost forced Kourtney to walk away from their long-running reality television show in order to protect her three little ones. Kourtney’s decision to take a step back from the show also had to do with her want to spend more time with her kiddos.
She told Paper Magazine in 2019, “I always say I want to move away someday and just be away from it all. Sail away. No one will ever see me again.”
“I keep throwing up different places, but then I’ll go there to visit and I’ll be like, ‘Nope, this isn’t it, but glad I came,'” Kourtney continued. “We’ve just been to Finland. And I was like, ‘Check, it’s great for me to visit, but I’m not going to move there.’ Maybe Norway. Switzerland? I’ve got a lot of ideas.”
Nonetheless, despite her want to distance herself from her public life here in America, Kourtney did appear on the season 18 premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Only time will tell when and if Kourtney truly decided to leave the show.
