Five years after Gossip Girl and Single Parents star Leighton Meester and The OC alum Adam Brody welcomed a baby girl into the world, the proud parents have welcomed baby number two. While spending some time on the live streaming platform for gamers, Twitch, Brody revealed to his fellow gamers that he and his wife welcomed a baby boy into the world.
During a Twitch event held by Hold The Phone called The Fun Time Boys Game Night Spectacular, Brody said, “I have a new kid. Since last I played, I have a new kid. I have a boy, and he’s a dream. He’s a dream boy.”

The child’s name has yet to be revealed, and it’s unclear if it will ever be as Brody and Meester prefer to keep their children and their private life together just that, private. After marrying in 2014, the couple welcomed a baby girl in 2015. The couple named their now 5-year-old daughter, Arlo Day.
The couple never officially confirmed their pregnancy. However, Meester was photographed while out and about sporting a bump in March. A month after the photo was taken, Meester was on an Instagram Live with her Single Parents co-star, Kimrie Lewis, when someone called her fat in the comments.
“Somebody just told me I got fat,” Meester responded to the comment, E! News reports. “That’s really nice.” “That is not nice, you guys,” Lewis said defending her friend.
While talking to Glamour in 2018, “Nobody can tell you what parenthood is going to be like. You think you know, and then it’s just so hard. I feel so, so lucky that I have help and a husband. I feel stable, but there are so many people who don’t have that. In a really tender way, Single Parents explores how parenting is an emotional roller coaster.”
That same year, in an interview with The Daily Beast, the new mom of two said that she often looks back at her upbringing as a parent now herself. “I think it’s always something that I think, whether you become a mother or father, you do revisit unconsciously or consciously—your past, your origins, your upbringing—and try to look at what was done right and wrong. For me, that’s what’s been interesting being a mother myself, and helpful.”

It’s unclear exactly when Meester gave birth to their son. Congratulations to the Brody-Meester family!
