Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester and The OC’s Adam Brody are expecting their second child together. The couple’s daughter Arlo Day Brody, 4, is going to be a big sister! The couple married in 2014 in a secret ceremony in Northern California and recently celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary.
The news about her pregnancy comes after photos of Meester were obtained by the Daily Mail. The actress took a stroll around Los Angeles earlier this week and revealed a visible baby bump. We still don’t have a confirmation from Meester, but we’ll let you be the judge.
Meester was spotted with Brody taking a walk (a safe distance from others) in Los Angeles.
The photos show Meester wearing long overalls and husband, Brody pushing their daughter in a stroller. The couple is notoriously private about their personal lives and child.
In an interview with Refinery29, she explained her decision to keep her daughter out of the spotlight and talked about her career. She said, “I am very proud of that area of my life. But I’m also really proud [Fox’s Making History] of the show, and of the work I do,” adding, “I think the perception is: You’re an ingenue, or you’re an icon, or you’re a mom. There’s no in-between.”
Leighton Meester’s comments are one of the few the notoriously private actor has made.
It might be some time before we ever know for sure that Meester is pregnant. She tends to shy from the press and she and Brody rarely attend red carpet events together.
Brody, who is a bit more open to interviews told GQ that the couple had found “great balance” in the private lives. He continued, “She’s more inherently private than I am,” Brody said of his wife “I don’t seek publicity but if I’m sitting next to you on the subway, I’ll tell you everything about me.”

Adam Brody explained that the couple considers themselves ‘homebodies.’
“We’re homebodies. We don’t go to a lot of things that perhaps we could, and don’t seek out promotion in that way,” the actor shared with GQ. “I’m not sh*tting on anyone who monetizes that aspect of their life because I get it. But we’ve found this great balance so far that really works for us. We’re also not very active on social media.”
We respect that. When asked about fatherhood Brody said, “It’s the best in every way.”
He also said, “It just gives you a new perspective in the best way. Something to focus on that’s greater and more important than yourself.”
