Magazine Reports That Kate Middleton and Prince William Can No Longer Parent Their Kids the Way They Want To Because of Harry and Meghan’s Royal Exit

A story alleging that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge can no longer parent their kids the way they hoped is being slammed by representatives for Kensington Palace. According to an article published by Tatler, a royal insider claimed Kate Middleton feels “exhausted and trapped” ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the royal family for a more private lifestyle.

“Kate is furious about the larger workload,” the insider said of how the Duchess is feeling about everything that happened in the last several months. “Of course she’s smiling and dressing appropriately but she doesn’t want this. She feels exhausted and trapped. She’s working as hard as a top CEO, who has to be wheeled out all the time, without the benefits of boundaries and plenty of holidays.”

Kensington Palace Slams Magazine for False Report About Kate Feeling Frustrated With Royal Duties

The insider also told Tatler that despite taking on even more work after COVID-19 hit, her feelings of exhaustion and anger came long before this global pandemic. The source, who has been described as a personal friend of Prince William and Kate’s went as far blame Harry and Meghan by name.

“Meghan and Harry have been so selfish. William and Catherine really wanted to be hands-on parents and the Sussexes have effectively thrown their three children under a bus. There goes their morning school runs as the responsibilities on them now are enormous.”

However, as E! News reports, Kate and William have been open about homeschooling their two oldest kids, Charlotte and George, even when schools in England are expected to reopen in the summer. Now the Palace is speaking out against the article.

“This story contains a swathe of inaccuracies and false misrepresentations which were not put to Kensington Palace prior to publication. Kensington Palace knew we were running the ‘Catherine the Great’ cover months ago and we asked them to work together on it. The fact they are denying they ever knew is categorically false.”
