Miley Cyrus is not holding back in one of the only interviews she’s done to promote her newest album. From her most recent relationship to revealing she lost her virginity to her ex-husband as a teenager, Miley is getting real about her most recent relationships.
While a guest on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Cyrus revealed that she “didn’t go all the way with a dude until I was 16, but I ended up marrying the guy. So that’s pretty crazy.” And while she didn’t explicitly say Liam Hemsworth‘s name, being that he’s the only man she’s married so far in her lifetime, it’s pretty obvious who she’s talking about.

However, at the time she lost her virginity to Liam, she lied about it. “I lied and made it seem like he wasn’t the first so I didn’t seem like a loser.” She also shared that the guy she lied about having sex with before Liam ended up marrying one of Liam’s friends, so at 24, she had to finally come clean to her soon-to-be husband.
As Cyrus got more and more into what she needs in a relationship for it to work, she admitted that she doesn’t really have a type, but the main thing for her “is that someone has to bring something that is elevating my life and that’s in all my relationships.” And when it comes to her “love language,” acts of service are one and quality time, an emphasis on the quality is another.
The pop star also gave advice on how she deals with breakups. As a very organized person, Cyrus also uses lists when things in her life go wrong. It helps her feel in control of her life, her emotions, and it helps her see things more clearly.
So in order for her to not get lost in the emotions of a breakup and to help her focus on the logic, she makes a list “of what you were gaining and what you were losing, what they were contributing to your life and what they were subtracting and to value each of these things by one thru 10. And then you add them all up.”
“So if the person was adding more to your life then that is what you expect for your next relationship and what they were subtracting you know what you will not accept ever again.” And with each relationship that doesn’t work out, Miley now knows with each of her lists, more of what she is looking for.
The 27-year-old also shared that she’s been in love three times in her life, but doesn’t believe there is just a one true love for her. Shortly after this podcast was released, it was also revealed that Cyrus and Cody Simpson have called it quits after being together for a year.

The reason for their split has not yet been revealed, Page Six reports.
