Two weeks after reports suggested that Nicki Minaj had officially given birth, Minaj is confirming those reports herself. She also revealed the gender of her newly born child as well.
Several months ago, after teasing her fans about her pregnancy for months, she confirmed her pregnancy with a handful of photos from her maternity shoot. “Love. Marriage. Baby carriage,” Minaj said when captioning one of the photos. “Overflowing with excitement and gratitude. Thank you all for the well-wishes.”

Nicki Minaj Shares Gender of Her Newborn Child
Then at the beginning of October, a source told TMZ that Nicki gave birth on Wednesday, September 30, in Los Angeles. The source also revealed that despite her husband, Kenneth Petty, record, he was able to present for the birth of his child.
Minaj and Petty have been married since October 2019 and will celebrate their one-year anniversary as a family of three. Kenneth and Minaj have reportedly known each other since childhood.
Now, Minaj has revealed that she and Petty have welcomed a son into the world. While sharing some of the congratulatory gifts she got from some of her most famous friends, Minaj revealed that she is “so grateful and in love with” her baby boy.
“Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time. It meant the world to me. I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favorite liddo boy in the whole wide world,” Minaj captioned her Instagram post.
What Minaj and Petty are still keeping from the public is the name they choose for their little man. Minaj is pretty private when it comes to her private life, so it’s unclear just how much of her motherhood journey she will feel comfortable sharing with the world.
Nonetheless, it’s clear that the world couldn’t be happier for Minaj and Petty as they continue their new journey as parents. Congratulations!
