Has it really been six years already? It sure has been six years since Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed their second child into the world, Princess Charlotte.
On May 2, the royal family celebrated Charlotte as the little princess turned six years old. Kate even gave the fans what they want by sharing a new picture of her only daughter on Instagram.
The beautiful portrait, showing Charlotte wearing the most precious smile, was taken by the Duchess of Cambridge herself.
“Wishing Princess Charlotte a very happy sixth birthday today,” read the caption under the adorable photo. And many of the comments agree that Charlotte is starting to just like her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
“She looks like Queen Elizabeth,” one person wrote. “She looks so much like the queen,” someone else said. “Looks so much like the queen when she was a young girl.”
While others believe the newly-turned 6-year-old, is definitely William’s daughter. “Well that’s William’s daughter,” another wrote. “Love the picture, she is the spitting image of William!!”
Charlotte’s big day comes just after her parents celebrated their 10th anniversary by sharing a video of their family of five, including their oldest son, Prince George, and their youngest son, Prince Louis, enjoying a walk together, toasting marshmallows, and more family fun.
