Mom of Two Uses TikTok to Let Others Know You Can Get Pregnant Without Have Vaginal Sex; She Did When She Was 19

She was at her prom, a virgin, and now she has a 5-year-old son five years later. According to TikTok user, Sammi Isabel, she was at her prom when she started to experience a cramping sensation in the bathroom.

And although she was a virgin, she began to panic when she remembers she was about a week late regarding her menstrual cycle. Despite knowing it sounded impossible, Sammi told her boyfriend that she thought she needed to take a pregnancy test even though they’ve never had sex.

According to Sammi, she had heard of women getting pregnant during foreplay if a woman also touches themselves during climax and she began to worry that she was now one of those women. Six positive pregnancy tests later, Sammi and her boyfriend learned they were, in fact, pregnant.

Understandably, Sammi admitted that she worried about giving birth since she was still a virgin. And when Sammi shared her story on TikTok it went viral.

Many of those who saw the TikTok video asked if her parents actually believe that she never had sex when she told them she was pregnant.

“My mom and dad both believe me. My mom was concerned about the pain I’d be in giving birth. And my dad actually works at a hospital and he would go around telling everybody,” Sammi explained in a separate video. “I was just like super embarrassed about it.”

Luckily, Sammi didn’t run into too many issues while giving birth. Yes, she was able to give birth vaginally, only running into an issue when it came to dilating. Sammi did opt to have an epidural.

And for all of those people who think Sammi is lying, well according to gynecologist Dr. Jennifer Lincoln, her story is plausible, even though it is rare. In an interview with Buzzfeed, Dr. Lincoln explained that “sperm has to get into a vagina in order for pregnancy to happen.” And it doesn’t matter how it gets there that pregnancy can be the end result.

“It doesn’t matter what puts it there — whether it’s a penis, finger, turkey baster, you name it — but once it’s there, it can travel through the cervix, into the uterus, and rendezvous with an egg in the fallopian tube and fertilize it.”

Sammi admittedly considered abortion but ended up choosing to keep their baby boy who they ultimately named Bentley. She and her boyfriend are still together to this day and eventually conceived a second son who is almost a year old. And yes, their second child was conceived the traditional way.

In the end, Sammi said she decided to share her story because she wants people to know that getting pregnant the way she got pregnant is a possibility.
