Star of Little People Big World, Amy Roloff has seen a lot of change lately. She got engaged to Chris Marek. Her daughter, Tori Roloff recently had her second child. Her divorce from Matt Roloff has been finalized. That’s one heck of a year!
After her divorce from Matt and then her engagement to Chris, Amy moved from the family farm into a new home. She posted a selfie on Instagram about how she’s “adjusting” to the new situation.
Along with the adorable photo, Amy posted, “Hello Saturday! A new house is something both Felix and I are adjusting to.”
An adjustment indeed. Amy moved to her home from a farm with lots of space. “Getting to know a smaller backyard, which is nice, living in a neighborhood, that’s pretty cool too, meeting some of the neighbors and working on making the house a home,” she continued.
Finally, Amy admits that she’s still getting used to not living at the farm, “Let’s face it, the farm will always be the farm, no comparison, but a new house in a new neighborhood will have its own adventure and it will take time to get use [sic] to it and 2020 will be another interesting year.”
Days earlier, Amy posted a Christmas photo in the new home with her fiancé, Chris.
She posted the photo with the caption, in part, “What a gift! Chris and I celebrated Christmas in the new house! New memories and adventure together. What a change to be someplace new.”
Clearly, she’s still getting used to life in the new home. After spending so many Christmases at the farm, it has to be bittersweet.
Amy sold her portion of the Roloff farm to her ex, Matt for $667,000.
Amy took the buyout option and Matt bought her portion of the farm. Then, Chris who is a real estate broker sold Amy her new home. The new place is only about 15 minutes away from the old, but it must feel much further for Amy.

Amy posted an NYE photo with Chris and captioned it, “What changed my life inn2019? Was when Chris asked me to marry him. I couldn’t be happier in my second act! ♥️ and looking forward to what 2020 may bring.”
We’re super excited about what 2020 will bring Amy. Moving to a new place is a huge adjustment, but we know all the good things coming Amy’s way will fill the new home with happy memories soon.
