QUESTION: Are ultrasound dates exact?

“Can ultrasound dates be exact on when you conceived? Has anyone been exact before? I got into a sticky situation and not sure who my baby’s father is. Thinking about getting a prenatal paternity test. Has anyone used alpha Biolabs? Were the results correct?”

“My ultrasound due date pretty much said I got pregnant when I wasn’t around my husband. It was wrong.”

“They can be 4 to 8 days away, either way. Ultrasounds go by size, and the size can be a couple of days off. They changed my daughter’s due date based on her size twice.”

“Mine was accurate but only because when they said the date, I knew 10000% we had sex that day lol.”

“It is approximate, as every woman’s body is different as to when they ovulate. It should be in the ballpark but if you [were with] 2 guys in the same week, you’ll need that paternity test.”

“Just go ahead and get a paternity test because you don’t want to be putting a baby on someone and it’s not even theirs.”

“I knew the exact date that I conceived my daughter. My ultrasound was off by a couple of days. If I can remember correctly, it was 3 or 4 days earlier than when it actually was.”

“If in doubt do the paternity test. Better to know for sure who is dad for your child’s sake if nothing else.”
