As quickly has Kellyann Conway’s daughter rose to fame for creating anti-Trump content on social media, her parents reportedly took the platforms away from her. From Twitter to Instagram to her TikTok account, Claudia Conway is saying her parents are forcing her to delete all of her accounts.
A little over a week after Claudia was interviewed by Insider, much of what she told the magazine is no longer true. In the interview, the 15-year-old opened up about her and her mother’s relationship, and how TikTok has affected it.

Claudia Conway Says Mom Kellyann Conway Is Forcing Her to Delete Social Media After Making Anti-Trump Content

“My family is a political family,” she told Insider as her father, George, lawyer and conservative columnist—who also distrusts Trump—sat next to her. And although she is a liberal while her parents are conservatives, at the time Claudia said she believed her parents supported her having independent thoughts.
“My mom is also a bad*ss. I think I want everyone to know that. My mom is the strongest person I know and she’s 100% a feminist. My dad completely supports what I’m doing and I think my mom does too, she’s just not as open about it as my dad.”
However, it seems that is no longer the case, or at least they no longer wanted her shouting her opinions from her rather large platform. In what she calls her final tweet, Claudia explained her future absence from social media.
“My parents are forcing me to delete social media so this is my last tweet,” Claudia wrote. “Apparently, I don’t have a platform! It’s fake! Love you all so much. Keep fighting.”

Although most of her original TikToks have been deleted, earlier in July, Conway seemed to make a “comeback.” And although she hasn’t posted a lot of political content, she’s definitely snuck some onto her revamped feed. Some of which were aimed at her mother as well.

However, her followers are still worried about her after she posted a video of herself crying along with the captions, “humor is my only coping mechanism,” before clarifying that her tears have “nothing to do with my parents.”
It’s unclear if her comeback is a rebellion against her parents, or if she managed to persuade them not to silence her. Only time will tell.
