Gwendlyn Brown and Beatriz Queiroz Tie the Knot in Flagstaff, Arizona: “Say Hello to Mrs (x2) Queiroz”

Gwendlyn Brown, the fourth of six children between Sister Wives’ stars Kody Brown and Christine Brown, is officially a married woman. The 21-year-old recently took to Instagram to share a beautiful photo of her and her new wife, Beatriz Queiroz, kissing in front of a neon sign that read ‘The Queirozes.’

The couple tied the knot and shared their vows in an intimate wedding in Flagstaff, Arizona on July 15 – they were surrounded by friends and family. “Say hello to mrs (x2) Queiroz,” Gwendlyn wrote in the Instagram caption – formally introducing themselves as a married couple for the first time publicly.

Gwendlyn, who turns 22 in October, also shared a couple of photos from the wedding on her Instagram Story – including one where the newlyweds take a wedding shot. Considering all the turmoil, animosity, and drama surrounding the Brown family over the past year, it’s nice they have something to celebrate!

Gwendlyn Brown and Beatriz Queiroz – who goes by Bea – announced their engagement in November. They shared photos of the special proposal on Instagram, which included a snowy picnic fit with candles and roses. A sneaky photographer captured Bea getting on one knee through a bush without leaves.

Not long after, Gwendlyn gave her followers a closer look at the ring – which featured an emerald-like stone surrounded by six smaller white stones in an emerald cut (according to PEOPLE). The proposal came just one month after Gwendlyn shared that she is bisexual during an October episode of Sister Wives.

The couple originally met while working at a fast-food restaurant – Bea was the shift leader, while Gweny was an employee. She had a crush on Bea for nearly a year before they started dating, but it took some time for Bea to open up to her. In fact, Bea didn’t really like Gweny at first, but things changed quickly.

“I was just some random chick at work [to her]. Eventually I was like, ‘I kind of like you,’ and she was like, ‘I don’t really like you that much, let’s just talk. It took about a month, and then we started dating,” Gweny explained in February – they moved in together two months later and got engaged six months later.

Gwendlyn Brown Plans on Studying Abroad With New Wife

Now that Gwendlyn and Beatriz Queiroz are married, they’re ready to start their life together. Their first order of business – preparing for a year-long trip to Spain, where Gwendlyn plans on studying abroad. It’s a big move for the Sister Wives star, but one she’s excited for – especially since she’s doing it with Bea.

“We’re gonna get me a student visa. We’re gonna get her a family visa, because we’ll be married by then,” Gwendlyn explained in her Q&A on YouTube a few months ago. Don’t worry, they plan on taking plenty of videos of the trip. “She’ll be able to come to Spain with me, and we’ll film lots of vlogs there.”

Their marriage comes at a time when the Brown family is experiencing plenty of changes. Her mother, Christine Brown, announced her split from Kody Brown in November 2021 – Meri Brown and Janelle Brown followed soon after. On Valentine’s Day, Christine went public with her new boyfriend, David.

More recently, Christine Brown announced her own engagement after David popped the big question in early April. “I’ve never been in love like this before, and the world seems like a brighter place with him in it. I’m so excited for the wonderful adventure we are going to embark on for the rest of our lives,” she said.
