The Flirty Dancing star and Kazee, an actor, are counting down days until the arrival of their baby, but in the meantime, Dewan spoke with People about the couple’s preparations for the newborn.
“Steve is amazing. He’s the most nurturing man. He really is supportive and communicates well with me throughout the process,” she told the outlet. “He’s always down for a foot rub and grabbing me bean burritos. He’s absolutely amazing.”
Dewan is also mom to Everly, 6, whom she shares custody of with her ex-husband, Channing Tatum. All three all looking forward to welcoming another baby into the family.
“It’s another baby, more love,” she told People. “We’re also reading a lot about adding a sibling and how that’s going to affect Everly and how we can help with that transition for her and make it exciting. We’re like a little unit. It’s been so far, so good.”

Overall, Dewan, 44, said she’s been feeling more relaxed this pregnancy and trying to stay as active as possible.
“I’ve been doing a little bit of everything,” she said. “I did a lot of Pilates in the beginning, then I was more into working with my trainer and doing private training. I recently have been using The Mirror workouts in the mirror. They have a whole prenatal barre method class. I also took on walking.”
Dewan and Kazee began dating in late 2018 and excitedly announced they were expecting their first child together in September 2019. They haven’t shared the exact due date with fans and followers just yet, but the baby is likely expected sometime in March 2020.
When I’m not hanging out with my three-year-old and husband in Brooklyn, I’m busy writing stories for Mamas Uncut and managing PR + Marketing for Magnolia Bakery, based in New York City. On weekends, you can usually find me at a local park or playground pushing my daughter on the swings, “researching” the best almond croissants in Park Slope or launching into impromptu family dance parties at home, the sidewalk or, every once in awhile, a restaurant bathroom. I’m still trying to master the whole parenting thing, but I have learned that copious amounts of coffee, humor and humility are involved on a daily basis.
Mamas Uncut is THE online place for moms. We cover the latest about motherhood, parenting, and entertainment as well – all with a mom-focused twist. So if you're looking for parenting advice from real parents, we have plenty of it, all for moms from moms, and also experts.
