Last fall, Jessa Duggar Seewald shared that her youngest son Henry’s speech was delayed. She and her husband Ben Seewald have been working with a speech pathologist since then to address the issue.
In January, Jessa shared that the 3-year-old was making some progress. “I think Henry is really catching up,” she said at the time, CafeMom reports. She noted that she and Ben continued to take Henry in for speech evaluations as well.

The early intervention continued to work as Jessa shared another update about Henry’s speech while responding to a fan’s question on Instagram last week. A fan asked Jessa how Henry was doing and she responded that his speech has continued to improve.

“Henry went from practically no words on his second birthday to being caught up now as he’s turning 3,” she responded to the fan. The couple is also parents to a 9-month-old baby girl, Ivy, who is already babbling quite a bit, and big brother 4-year-old, Spurgeon.
Jessa also recently shared details of her three natural births on her YouTube channel. “I’ve given birth naturally three times now. Natural birth doesn’t make me any more of a woman, nor do I think it’s the only way birth should be done,” she shared on Instagram when she invited fans to watch the videos. “I have nothing against hospitals or epidurals – and in fact, I may give both a try if God were to bless us with another baby in the future.”

“I thought it would be fun to share my birth stories with other mamas— including raw footage from all three births! Giving birth isn’t easy. It’s hard work,” she continued. “To be honest, I moan like a cow through nearly every contraction (I will spare you the audio). But every mother knows that feeling when the baby is delivered and laid on your chest for the first time. It’s a magical moment, and one that makes it all worth it.”
