After giving Kim Kardashian West the cold shoulder, Kanye West is publicly apologizing to his wife. As Mamas Uncut reported, the rapper’s apology comes not long after reports suggested that West wanted nothing to do Kim and after he publicly admitted that he was attempting to divorce the mother of his children.
After revealing that he thought about abortion when Kim was pregnant with North at a rally in South Carolina and taking to Twitter to slam Kim and Kris Jenner for allegedly trying to lock him up, West is changing his tune.
On July 25, West returned to Twitter to issue a short apology letter to his wife. “I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter. I did not cover her like she has covered,” Kanye wrote.
“Kim, I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me,” Kanye West concluded his apology.
It was after his tweet that Kim and Kanye were spotted in a car together in Wyoming. Picture published on various media sights seem to show that the conversation between the husband and wife were very emotional.
People has also reported that the person that convinced Kanye to see Kim was non-other than pop star Justin Bieber. Bieber is married to Kendall Jenner‘s best friend, Haley Bieber. “Justin wants to be supportive,” a source told People. “Justin knows that Kanye has been making new music [in Cody] and appreciates how much pressure it is to produce new music. Justin struggled for so long himself before he got proper help.”
During his original YouTube series, Justin has opened up about the mental health issues he has had to with himself. “Kanye didn’t want to face Kim,” the source continued to tell People. “He doesn’t mind having a public spectacle but he avoids conflict when he’s like this. He knows he disappointed her and that kills him.”
According to the source, Bieber had also been sympathetic to Kim’s feelings through all of this as well and encouraged West to meet with his wife. “He told Kanye that he needed to talk to Kim. And Kanye finally texted Kim and they talked on the phone.”
Not long after that phone call, Kim returned to Wyoming.
“She has a lot to say to him. She loves him, but she knows that it’s not healthy for her to be around him now, and it’s honestly not healthy for the kids. He needs to get his stuff together before he can be any sort of partner or father.”

Kim has since returned to Los Angeles. It’s unclear when Kanye will return home as well.
