Motherhood strengthened the sense of sisterhood between Khloé Kardashian and Kim Kardashian. The season 18 premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians broadcast earlier this week and Khloé live-tweeted her thoughts and engaged with fans throughout.
Her tweets were thoroughly entertaining and we actually learned more about the reality TV star from them than the show itself. One fan tweeted, “I feel @KimKardashian and @khloekardashian have grown soooo much closer since Koko got pregnant #kuwtk love them.”
Khloé Kardashian confirmed that she was indeed closer to her sister these days.
Khloé retweeted the tweet with the comment, “You are exactly right! Once I got pregnant that’s when her and I became so close and I was fearful we were going to drift apart once I had the baby but we did not.”
Fans were happy to get the confirmation of what they were perceiving from the premiere episode of the show. Khloé’s retweet garnered thousands of likes from fans. One fan even wrote, “I wish I had a family like yours.”
In addition to that sweet revelation, Khloé also dropped a bit of a bomb about her ex.
She shared that she was watching the episode with Tristan Thompson, her ex and the father of her 23-month-old baby girl, True.
“I love that Tristan is watching this premiere with me and he is now seeing what they say when he’s not around lol AWKWARD!!” she tweeted, “Let me just give a round of applause for all the healthy coparenting is out there #KUWTK. THIS S— IS HARD BUT SO REWARDING.”
Khloé has been open about her and Thompson co-parenting their daughter. In case anyone was speculating about the pair becoming an item again, she added, “He visits to see his daughter.”
Kim, who’s mom to four kids, has opened up about her relationship with Khloé in the past. In 2018, she told People that she gave Khloé parenting advice “all the time.” But, she admitted that Khloé had actually given her plenty of advice as well.
“We’re always sharing, what monitor, ‘What’s this?’ ‘What are these toys?’ ‘What formula?’ ‘What bottles?’ Everything, just everything,” Kim said, adding that her sister even borrowed her maternity clothes. “We share tips.”

Khloé said that she relies on Kim more than anyone else for guidance.
When True was 3-months-old, Khloé explained that her sister’s help has been invaluable. And, that all of her questions are considered without judgment.
“I have to say that Kim probably has given the best advice because she’s not judgmental about any of it,” Khloé explained. “She offers up different ideas and either you take it or leave it and that’s okay.”
Kim is True’s godparent and Khloé feels her parenting style aligns more with Kim than Kourtney Kardashian.
In a 2018 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloé openly discussed which of her sisters she wanted to be the godparent of her unborn daughter.
“Watching Kimberly be a mom, I really respect her parenting skills, not that I don’t respect Kourtney’s, I relate to how Kim parents more,” she said. “But at the end of the day, this family is so close and we love each other so much and if anything, God forbid, were to happen, I know my daughter is in the best of hands no matter who her legal guardian is.”
We’re happy that Kim and Khloé are looking out for each other and making sure each has all the tools and support she needs to keep on mothering. It really does take a village and we’re thrilled that these two sisters can rely on each other so deeply. Every mom needs a support team.
