When it comes to filling the time, movies are a great way to do that. And there are plenty of places to find good, wholesome, and funny movies that cost you little or no money.
So in an effort to make it a little bit easier to find these movies, Mamas Uncut has compiled a list. And pro tip: buying an Amazon Fire Stick could make finding these free movies even easier. So take a look and enjoy!
Here are the places where you can find free movies without needing a subscription:
Crackle – Crackle has a slew of movies from every different genre. From Barbra Streisand’s greatest hits to some of the funniest of comedies, it will be hard to not find a movie the whole family will enjoy on Crackle.
IMDb TV– Now, not every movie shared through IMDb TV is free, but many of them are! So why not take a look?
Popcornflix – This app hosts a lot of independently made films that you may have never known you needed to see!
Tubi TV– Unlike the other apps, this platform also hosts some of the most popular television shows as well as a great variety of movies! How awesome is that?
And here are the places where you can find family-friendly movies with a subscription:
When it comes to subscription services, you pay a monthly fee and get to watch unlimited content, much of which is exclusive to the platform. This is what makes these platforms different to the free ones above.
Netflix – Currently, Netflix is offering 30 days for free. After that, the monthly cost of the subscription service starts at $8.99 a month.
Amazon Prime – The membership fee for Amazon Prime is $119 per year or $12.99 per month. However, like Netflix, the first 30 days are also free.
Disney+ – After offering a 7-day trial period, the service is $6.99 per month and it offers every Disney movie you could possibly think of. And who doesn’t love a good old fashion Disney flick?
Hulu – Hulu also offers a month free. After that, a basic plan is only $5.99 a month, but there are even more plans for more money.
Now, who else is ready to start binging?
