The actor opened up about the experience on Instagram, sharing the couple’s gratitude for the love and support they’ve received.

The heartwarming post features a photograph of the comforting notes that the couple has received.

“A Time For Everything,” the FBI: Most Wanted actor writes. “It’s been quite the season in real life while @brittanylynnlutz and I have been living in NY for season one of @fbicbs Most Wanted!”

He goes on to praise his wife for her strength during such a difficult time.

“@brittanylynnlutz you have been unbelievable during this hard past month! So grateful for you! I wanted to give a shout out to you all for all your love and support as we lost our baby girl who became stillborn at 6.5 months.”

Kellan also takes time to thank his colleagues and family who have “been there to help in any way this whole time.”

The couple have made it clear that they look forward to trying for a baby again in the near future, saying that he and his wife “can’t wait to try again when the time is right God willing.”

Britney also took to social media to share her grief and to thank her followers for their ongoing support.

“First of all, THANK YOU to all of you. Your love, support, encouragement, kindness… it’s been overwhelming in the best way,” writes Britney. “My emotions and feelings are slightly all over the place which is to be expected. Some moments I feel so full of peace and hope and expectancy. And other moments, simply put, it all just hurts like hell.”

The loss of a pregnancy is something that is experienced by many, but talked about publicly by few. We applaud this couple for their courage and hope that they continue to feel the support of their collective community during this difficult time.
