Marilee Fiebig Breaks Silence After Husband, T.J. Holmes, Takes Relationship With Amy Robach Public

Marilee Fiebig is finally breaking her silence after two months of watching her husband, T.J. Holmes, make headlines with his co-host and new girlfriend, Amy Robach. While she remained professional, she certainly didn’t hold back and is ‘disappointed’ by Holmes’ “lack of discretion, respect, and sensitivity.”

Fiebig and Holmes got married in 2010, three years after his divorce from Amy Ferson – who he shares two children with. His third child, who he shares with Fiebig, was born in 2013 and the couple appeared to have a healthy relationship. That, of course, came crashing to a halt when they separated in 2022.

Initial reports of their ‘rough patch’ were a result of a cryptic message posted to Holmes’ Instagram account – in which he shared a quote that read, “End the relationship and cry once. It’s better than being with them and crying daily.” That was in April, but other reports suggest the couple split around August.

News of her husband’s relationship with Amy Robach broke ground in November 2022 when the two were seen at a bar together and later seen loading a car with luggage. That sparked an investigation by ABC News, resulting in both Robach and Holmes being taken off air – they remain sidelined to this day.

Over the past two months, Holmes’ relationship with Robach has grown stronger. They were recently seen packing on heavy amounts of PDA during a trip to Miami and were described as reportedly “making out like teenagers” at one point.

Meanwhile, Holmes’ relationship with his wife, Marilee Fiebig, has only grown weaker. He filed for divorce from Fiebig on the same day (Dec. 28) he was pictured kissing Robach. It not only confirmed his relationship with Fiebig was over but confirmed his relationship with Robach was on.

According to one source close to the new couple, “[They] spent the holidays together and are spending all of their time together right now. They are fully in a relationship. They are not hiding anything because they have no reason to.” Of course, this all comes at a very sensitive time for Fiebig, who has been blindsided.

Marilee Fiebig is Disappointed by Her Former Husband

Marilee Fiebig has remained silent over the past few months but finally broke her silence in a statement released by her divorce lawyer, Stephanie Lehman. The statement was initially reported by The Daily Mail and comes just one week after T.J. Holmes filed for divorce – which appears to be moving swiftly.

“During the holiday season and in light of the challenging times, Marilee’s sole focus has remained on the overall best interest of her 9-year-old daughter. To that end, T.J.’s lawyer and I have been working together to move their divorce forward privately, expeditiously and as amicably as possible,” the statement read.

The Daily Mail also clarified that Holmes and Robach allegedly started their relationship in June when in London for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – which ultimately resulted in Holmes and Fiebig splitting in August, the same time Robach split from her husband, Andrew Shue. It hasn’t settled well with Fiebig.

“Notwithstanding, we continue to be disappointed by T.J.’s lack of discretion, respect, and sensitivity toward Marilee and the party’s daughter. Marilee has been touched by the outpouring of support and looks forward to a new beginning in this new year,” the statement continued, as Fiebig remained professional.
