Despite her seemingly unwavering support for what her husband is going through right now, it is being reported that Kanye West is still giving his wife, Kim Kardashian West, the cold shoulder after he dragged her and his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, publicly on Twitter.
As Mamas Uncut reported, following an interesting rally as he reportedly continues his bid for President of the United States, West took to Twitter to vent about how he was feeling. He talked about his children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, and also claimed that he had been attempting to divorce his wife of six years since 2018.
West also alleged that Kris was working with Kim to keep him away from their four children, adding that they allegedly tried to “lock me up.” Regardless of what was said during his rant, Kim took to Instagram to issue a statement of her own. The statement was nothing short of supportive for her husband, who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder in the past.
“Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behavior know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor. People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try. He is a brilliant and complicated person, who on top of the pressures of being an artist and a black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother and has to deal with the pressures and isolation that is heightened by his bipolar disorder. Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words some times do not align with is intentions.”
Yet despite Kim’s public show of support, TMZ is reporting that West is still giving her the “cold shoulder.”
According to a source, TMZ said that “there’s been very little communication between Kim and Kanye since he jetted off for his South Carolina rally.” According to TMZ, “Kim has made attempts to talk to Kanye about his mental state, but he’s not receptive.” The mom of four even flew to their ranch in Wyoming twice but he refused to see her both times.
The source also revealed that Kim had been concerned about West’s mental health roughly a month before his rally in South Carolina. In fact, Kim had flown to be with Kanye while he was in the Dominican Republic and could tell “something was seriously off.”
However, Kim eventually had to leave so that she could get back to their kids. She reportedly had no idea that West was planning on having a rally.
