Six months after revealing that he and his wife Brittany Lutz lost their baby girl, who was stillborn at 6.5 months, Kellan Lutz is revealing they are pregnant with what they are calling a promise baby. The couple sneakily shared the big news while Brittany was sharing her daily devotional with her followers.

After talking about her relationship with God and the way in which she asks for blessings and listens to God’s will, both Brittany and Kellan shared the big news. After thanking Kellan and their beloved dog for being her special guests, she said, “There’s one more special guest. There’s a tiny little bump. Yay! You guys, a little promise baby. This is not a drill, this is not a throwback. This is another promise being fulfilled.”

“We’re pregnant again,” Kellan added, “If you guys don’t know. We’re pregnant.”

As Brittany shared, this pregnancy was a surprise. Just like it was a surprise to lose their baby girl at the beginning. “That was tough. And still is. I mean, there’s still hard moments.”

But even though she’s been through a lot with the death of their first child, Brittany admitted that she’s still looking forward to sharing this journey with their fans as well. “We don’t know what the future holds for my body physically, and going forward. And yeah, here we are with another little promise.”

The clearly excited couple also thanked their family, friends, and fans for all their support and love over the last six months. While Kellan and Brittany haven’t gone into specifics about what happened during their first pregnancy, the mom-to-be has opened up about some of the struggles she has gone through.

In one Instagram post, Brittany writes, in part, “No two people are alike. God rejoices in diversity, & we should too. ⁣
I believe the same way the pain and damage in my physical body is healing without my doing anything, Jesus is doing that when I invite Him into my broken-hearted situations. Losing my daughter and almost losing my life? I can’t make myself get over that pain. I can’t force my emotions & heart to be whole again. But simply by inviting Him into the situation, I have already felt my heart healing unexplainably.”
