Kristen Bell Admits She’s “Absolutely Miserable” Homeschooling Her Kids After Her Daughter Trashed Her in Personal Essay

Kids are the best. Right? Right?? Right???? Celebs from Chris Hemsworth to Kristen Bell are all dealing with a new reality when it comes to both parenting and schooling their children during the coronavirus pandemic. As school teachers and homeschooling parents have intrinsically known forever, it ain’t easy!

For adults without kids, they’re completing neglected home projects, catching up on reading, and drinking copious amounts of wine.

For instance, Oprah’s living her best life right now.

Oprah shared a video of herself whipping up some pasta while jamming out to some music all while firmly holding a glass of red wine. We’ll have what Oprah’s having!

For parents with kids at home, the situation is a bit different.

Parents now are tasked with caring for their children every waking moment and that includes homeschooling their kids. Kim Kardashian, mother of four, recently tried to film a PSA for Californians about the importance of staying at home and socially distancing.

The video shows the mom repeatedly interrupted by her 6-year-old North West as she desperately tries to finish the video. It tracks. Many parents are feeling like they can’t accomplish much of anything right now with their kids sucking up every ounce of attention.

After socially distancing with her kids, Kardashian went on to admit that she’ll not be having any more children in the foreseeable future.

Meanwhile, in Australia, Chris Hemsworth talked about the difficulties of homeschooling his 3 children.

Actor and hunk o’ man Chris Hemsworth recently did an interview where he described how difficult it is to homeschool his three children.

“Homeschooling them is an absolute challenge,” he explains in the interview. “It’s three hours of negotiation and maybe 20 minutes of actual work.”

“My kids are allergic to sitting down,” he says, defeated.

One of our favorite moms, Kristen Bell put it best. She described homeschooling as “absolutely miserable.”

Actor and hilarious mom, Kristen Bell has two daughters: Lincoln, 7, and Delta, 5. Like many of us, she’s been struggling with homeschooling her kids. And, luckily, she’s brutally honest about the difficulties of teaching her kids while being stuck with them 24/7.

Bell recently joined new mom and supermodel, Ashley Graham to talk about the dire situation and it’s the real-est of the real. In an episode of Momsplaining, Bell spills that tea.

“Of course, we’ve all come to know the two worst words in the human language: Home schooling.”

“Doing schoolwork with them, it is absolutely miserable,” she told Graham. “When we started the quarantine, the first math sheet I gave my daughter, in all the answer lines she wrote ‘No, no, no, no, no.'”

“There are a few people that have come out victorious in this situation — germaphobes, stay-at-home moms. They’re all like, ‘I told you how fucking hard this is!'” she added.

Bell advises Graham to not even consider having more children.

Through lots of laughter, Bell goes on to warn Graham about having more children. Graham recently gave birth to her first child, a boy, Isaac in January.

“I had big hopes and dreams for a lot of kids too,” she said, “And then when they get here and you hear how much they talk, it’s like having all the radio stations on at one time.”

The advice comes just days after Bell shared a ‘first-person essay’ her daughter had written.

Bell shared a picture of the hilariously negative “essay” along with the caption: “Trying to get my 1st grader to write her first opinion essay, and was quite impressed with the topic she chose as she presented her grid with opinion and evidence. Touche my young lass. Touche. (The bottom says ‘Stern Voice’).”

Have you ever felt so seen?

Bell’s children aren’t the only ones causing her grief.

In a recent video interview with Katie Couric, Bell and her husband, Dax Shepard admitted that things have been tense between them during the quarantine.

“We’ve been at each other’s throats real bad,” Bell said before Shepard added, “Oh ya, it just ended like eight minutes ago. Perfect timing.”

“This is as physically close as we’ve been in days,” Bell said. “Because we’ve just found each other revolting.” And that’s when Shepard joked that “America’s sweetheart has some character defects.”

We know a lot of moms are feeling the same exact way right now. Never change Kristen Bell! Never change.
