2021 has been a strange year but the one constant that continues to bring us joy is seeing adorable celebrity babies! For many celebs, these children represent the start of their parenting journeys and mark a turning point in their lives.

Emma Roberts and Garret Hedlund welcomed a son they named Rhodes Robert Hedlund at the end of December but fans did not find out until that news was finally confirmed in January. His birth date is December 27. So, we are counting this one as a 2021 baby even though it probably shouldn’t be because we love the picture she shared so much! This was one of the most anticipated celebrity babies of the year!
Kevin ‘Leo’
Dancing with the Stars favorite Witney Carson and husband, Carson McAllister welcomed their son, Kevin “Leo” McAllister on January 3 following “a really hard 24-hour labor, and an unexpected c-section.” She also shared that he was “named after his grandpa who sent him down to us.”
Christian Michael
Country singer Clay Walker welcomed his seventh child, a son named Christian Walker, on January 5. This is his fourth child with Jessica Craig. Walker said to People, “he’s perfect in every way.”
Avelyn May
Season 10 The Voice contestant, Mary Sarah and boyfriend Mitch Clark, combined the names Adeline and Ava for their daughter, Avelyn May. She was born on January 6 in Nashville.
Genevieve ‘GiGi’ Valentina
9-1-1 actor Ryan Guzman and fiancée Chrysti Ane surprised fans with the arrival of their second child on January 7. “Well world, I think it’s time I make a confession….I’ve been pregnant for basically this entire quarantine ????????,” Chrysti wrote on Instagram following the announcement. This one wasn’t on our radar until the big reveal and little GiGi has got to be one of our favorite celebrity babies!
Hartford Charlie Rose
Former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder welcomed her first child with her husband, Beau Clark, named Hartford Charlie Rose Clark on January 7 as well! “We are feeling so blessed and grateful to have a beautiful and most importantly, healthy baby girl,” the couple said shortly after Hartford’s birth.
Rocky Conor
The Voice season 2 contestant Chriss Mann and wife Laura welcomed their second child together, Rocky Conor, on January 11 in Los Angeles. “We were just trying to take it easy at home when Laura’s labor went from zero to 100 in about an hour,” Chris said, explaining that his wife almost went into labor in the car on the way to the hospital.
Bowie Ella
Gossip Girl alum Jessica Szohr and her professional hockey-playing boyfriend, Brad Richardson, welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Bowie Ella on January 11. “Added a little special sweetness to our family and some new direction to our journey on 1-11-21,” she wrote on her Instagram birth announcement. Author and actor Jenny Slate and her fiancé Ben Shattuck kept their pregnancy a complete secret until just a few days before their daughter, Ida Lupine, was born. “Being a mother is such a joy. It’s so cliché, but I love it,” she told Entertainment Tonight after confirming the news of Ida’s birth. “I feel really lucky and happy.” Although we did not expect celebrity babies from Slate this year, we’re certainly thrilled for her!

Teen Mom star Chelsea Houska welcomed her fourth, baby girl, Walker, with husband Cole DeBoer, on January 25. “She decided she wanted to share a birthday with her big brother, Watson, and surprised us by coming last night,” Houska wrote at the time.

Country singer Tyler Farr and wife, Hannah, welcome their first child together, Hollis Caroline, on January 27 in Franklin, Tennessee. “Our pic right before we brought [our] little girl home. To say it changes a man is an understatement,” the entertainer wrote.
Lang Lang’s Son
The Chinese pianist, Lang Lang, and his musician wife Gina Alice Redlinger welcomed their first child together, a baby boy whose name they have not made public! They announced the birth on January 28. “Gina and I are delighted to announce the birth of our baby boy. Welcome to the world ????,” he wrote as a caption.

Another one of the most anticipated celebrity babies of the year, Kelly Rowland finally makes it on this list. She and her husband, Tim Weatherspoon, welcomed their second child, a baby boy, on January 21. Singer Joss Stone and boyfriend, Cody DaLuz took to Facebook live to unveil the birth of their baby, Violet Melissa. “I have a very special little bun that I’ve been making,” she said as DaLuz brings the baby into the frame, who was born Friday, January 29. “Took about nine months. Theo Campbell, a former contestant on MTV’s The Challenge and the UK’s Love Island, is a new dad, he revealed on Instagram on February 8. He named his son Aries.

Lauren and Nick Carter welcomed baby number three! A little girl, they named Pearl. Pearl has two older siblings, big bro Odin Reign, 5, and big(ish) sister Saoirse, 18 months. “We are proud to announce that our baby has officially arrived,” the singer shared on Twitter. He explained that the family had to spend a few nights in the hospital before they could all return home. But, all seems to be going great now!

Kirsten Dunst had her first child, Ennis Howard, with fiancé Jesse Plemons. “Having that much joy in your life, no matter how you feel, personally, waking up and seeing that face is the best thing in the world,” Dunst told GMA following the birth of her son.

One of the celebrity babies that arrived much earlier than expected was Ismail France, Rob and Tan France‘s first child together, who came seven weeks early! He was born on July 10th but had to spend his first three weeks in the NICU the Queer Eye star explained on social media. “We love him so, so much. Like, fully obsessed,” he added.

On September 9, she announced the arrival in a sweet post on Instagram. “’It is said that women leave their bodies in labor… they travel to the stars to collect the souls of their babies, and return to this world together,’” the post said. “It was my greatest honor to go and collect you Aidan James.
